Eric Cantona is one of the few EA FC 24 players that has the rare Flair+ playstyle trait. It makes him feel very special. Without it he would be rather average Icon card in EA SPORTS FC 24 Ultimate Team (FUT).

The Flair+ playstyle is probably my favorite of them all so far. It makes your player perform flashy fancy moves with ease. You can basically do everything with pressing L2 (Left Trigger) and the golden playstyle icon will pop up to indicate it has been activated.

Flair+ trait also nutmegs players automatically with a drastic boost. If you want to play with a flashy fancy fun style of play, I'd look for cards with this playstyle as it makes all of the fancy moves so automatic and effortless.

The golden Flair playstyle essentially dumbed down the hardness of FIFA flair shots and other trickshots. Now everyone can do them even without much skill, if they use these players. In a sense it's a good thing. Because now you can focus on other parts of the game while also having ease of doing flair shots. Normally with regular players you need deep nuance and skill in doing flair shots effectively.

The game largely moved into the direction that stats are meaningless, and the new playstyles dictate if the player is useful or not. In most cases, if the player does not have a relevant golden playstyle that you want, then it's a useless player.

Practicing skills in EA FC 24 with Neymar Jr and Kylian Mbappé. In this FC 24 skill moves tutorial you learn useful tips and tricks for scoring amazing flair shot goals. The key to it is in the timing of flair shot and how you move your left analog stick while

you perform it.

This example shows you all the left stick movements with the arrow by the player, which is useful in learning these.

Most players struggle doing the sideflick flair shot - this is because they are facing towards the goal when performing it. Rather, you should position in a way so that your player's side is towards the goal / target. Then it gets easy to do it. Also, the flair trait is necessary in the newest EA Sports FC 24.

The advanced trickshots work the same way in older FIFA games as well. Nothing has changed in terms of how to do flair shots.

I highly recommend getting to the practice arena and trying to master these trickshots over there. After that you start to understand how to perform flair shots. Then they're easy to trigger in EA FC 24 gameplay.
