CONVERGE H2020 project

The target of the CONVERGE H2020 project is to reduce emissions in the transport sector through an innovative process for biodiesel production using agricultural waste products, so called secondary biomass.

CONVERGE provides a 12 % more efficient production process compared to existing systems while reducing the cost of biodiesel by 10 %.

The project will also explore venues to adopt any residual biomass as fuel, facilitating the use of locally available secondary biomass streams.
