Bosnian Air War 1995

In August 1995, NATO warplanes went into action in the Balkans, blasting Serbian positions in wave after wave. The action - the first full use of NATO air power - finally brought the warring parties to the peace table.
The massive air strikes were the culmination of many months of continual frustration for the NATO air crews who had been flying regular patrols over the former Yugoslavia. Just as the Gulf War, the Electronic Warfare planes were the first to go in. American EA6B and EF111A Raven jets located and jammed hostile radar, while RAF Harrier GR 7's, Tornado F3's and Jaguars were amongst the first strike aircraft to launch against hostile ground targets.
Bosnian Air War covers the build up to the action, looking at the Operation: Deny Flight, supply drops and AWAC surveillance, as well as the ground attacks, with extensive use of previously unavailable NATO footage.
