Pony found with skin falling off finds loving new home

World Horse Welfare were asked to visit a welfare case due to concerns of horses not having enough water. When Field Officer Penny Baker visited the site, she found that the horses had plenty of water but she noticed a pony who had extreme sunburn.

After being accessed by the vet, the pony (now called Primrose) was removed from the site for emergency treatment and was eventually moved to our Glenda Spooner Farm Rescue and Rehoming Centre for rehabilitation treatment.

Today, Primrose is enjoying a new lease of life after being rehomed as a companion to her new rehomer, Lynn, after she lost her own horse suddenly.

Rehome a horse from World Horse Welfare, and be reassured that all are horses will be fully accessed by a team of specialists before they arrive to you and if your circumstances were to change, you can always return the horse back to us.
