'At least 2,000 Killed as Second Earthquake Hits Afghanistan'

A 6.3 magnitude earthquake has struck western Afghanistan, just days after a series of deadly quakes left an estimated 2,000 people dead.

The earthquake was about 28 kilometers outside Herat, the capital of Herat province.

The quake also flattened all 700 homes in Chahak village, which was untouched by the tremors of previous days.
