CYBERSCAPE: A COMPUTER ANIMATION VISION

Rare DVD created by trail-blazer visionary Beny Tchaicovsky (1954-2009). Cyberscape was created in 1995, released in 1997, and distributed through Sony Music Entertainment. The music composition and performance of the soundtrack on this version were also created by B.Tchaicovsky. Cyberscape has an important space in the history of the evolution of Computer Generated Imagery as an art form born in the early '90s.

Tchaicovsky's art has been described as Fantastic Realism or Surrealism. Beny resisted labels. He termed his style "Esoteric Realism", in which, he explained, creativity is used as a tool for inner and outer exploration and as the expression of the historical socio-cultural environment of the artist. Tchaicovsky believed that art has a critical role to play in helping to raise the consciousness of humanity.
