Opposition leaders fault government over rising fuel prices

Jeff: The United Opposition led by Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has condemned the rise in fuel prices, alleging a scheme by certain individuals to profit from the increase.

Olive: They say the prices are unjustified when compared to those in neighbouring countries, some of which import fuel through Kenya. They are now calling on President William Ruto to stop politicking and focus on reducing fuel prices.

Jeff: DCP leader Rigathi Gachagua, in the United Kingdom, has warned that Kenyans will push for lower fuel prices, saying the rising cost of living is becoming unbearable. Willy Lusige reports.
