Transferring Slides to Digital Photos
Transferring Slides to Digital Photos. I made this simple, DIY Camera platform for my point and shoot camera out of 1/2" plywood with 1/4" x 3" long height adjusting bolts. I painted bottom of the plywood flat black. Bolts holes were drill undersized and then tapped with 1/4-20 tap.

This worked out very well and I was able to capture and preserve many family slides that probably would not be viewed again since they would be packed away. Now that they are digital, I have them on Google+ photos.
