Way back in late 2014, I approached Marc with the idea of co-producing a medley together. Having always admired his work ever since I discovered his Final Fantasy Medleys, I was thrilled when he accepted. We both agreed that our similar musical tastes and backgrounds could be the foundation for something special. So the next step was to decide on a game. It had to be something that not only had great music, and told a great story, but also had the malleability to be sculpted and blended into something entirely new. So Ocarina of Time naturally came up, and considering it's status as one of the most covered video games in existence, we knew we would have to do something special with it in order to make it stand out. We agreed that it would be a good challenge and so we set out to begin arranging, with no particular vision in mind, just seeing where it naturally directs itself. A point was made to be as creative as possible with the arrangements, not being afraid to take them well beyond the realm of their original style. Over the months it started to slowly take shape, and here we are today. I think I can speak for both of us when I say it's one of our proudest musical accomplishments. We hope you enjoy this journey through the world of Ocarina of Time as much as we enjoyed our journey in making it.
