TOUCH THE SKY: The Struggle with Body Image

This video is not just for girls and not just for teenagers because I've found that almost all of us, at so many different stages of our life, have anxiety over the way we look. It may be about your weight. It may just be that you are going through a phase where you feel like you're not attractive or sexually desirable. You may be recovering from a breakup and struggling with trusting another person to see you naked again. Or perhaps you've been scrolling Instagram and feeling slightly depressed by all the perfect bodies and faces and you're left feeling like you're just not good enough. I realise this is a huge subject and I'm not qualified to advise you specifically. However, a lot of you have been emailing me about this topic so I wanted to share some things that I have learned over the years about dieting, weight loss, confidence, self esteem, sex, relationships, health and mindset that have helped me with my own body image.
Also, apologies for some of the small issues with the filming and audio - I've been really sick this week so it was a real struggle to make this episode! Hope it's not too distracting.

I began hosting, producing and filming travel shows on TV, then in 2016 I started this YouTube channel in the hope of sharing stories that were unscripted, spontaneous, filled with more heart and emotion than the travel shows or vlogs I saw that only showed the surface layer or tourist attractions. It has been a challenging year, and certainly as a YouTuber I still have so far to go, but these adventures have filled me with tremendous gratitude and a desire to keep documenting the beauty and kindness of humanity all over the world.

I film and edit alone, travelling the world as a one-girl production company with tripods and multiple cameras. Although I am Australian, I have lived in many different countries around the world, including Italy, Japan, the UK, Spain and Monaco. I have studied Italian, Spanish and Japanese and I'm usually based in Italy.
