Thought provoking performances by Fiatsi explore cultural frictions with human rights, gender/sexual prejudices, sexism, religious extremism, human sense of vulnerabilities, mortality, political injustice and objectification of marginalized citizens within our so-called civilized societies. The crazinisT artisT’s practice has been extended into studio performance photography, nomadic performance, experimental videos, filming and installations that explores the rituals of identity, vulnerability of queer people and tensions between an exhibitionist and voyeurism.
