Personal Pay PP on Adhoc Relief Allowance | Clarification about PP on ARA & Next Scale | ECZ |

Personal Pay i.e. PP, when the last stage of any scale is reached, the increment that will be received next year will be received in the form of Personal Pay i.e. PP. Personal Pay i.e. PP is a part of Basic Pay and will also be used in the pension calculation along with Basic Pay.
Similarly, if any allowance like Ad Hoc Relief Allowance etc. is received on Basic Pay, then Personal Pay i.e. PP will be added to Basic Pay and that allowance will be given. Just as Basic Pay is revised, Personal Pay i.e. PP will also be revised.
If pay is to be fixed in the next scale in the form of Personal Pay i.e. PP, then Personal Pay i.e. PP should be added to Basic Pay and then fixed on the next salary in the next scale.
If your personal pay i.e. PP is not appearing in the pay slip or is not being updated when the scale is revised, then the procedure is that you should write your PP (Personal Pay) only on the change form, get it signed by your DDO and submit it to your respective account office.
