Infinite (Ultimate LP Mix) - Linkin Park vs Sonic Forces

The 3rd of the 4 Sonic Forces mashups I've previewed last year - Originally pitched as "Infinite Park", but went with a similar title to my last Fist Bump mega mashup. For the longest time now, I have been avoiding other Infinite/LP mashups (aside from maybe 2 earliest on) just so I wouldn't get too inspired - I wanted to go in fresh for the most part & possibly create a story with this mashup, kinda like how I did with my Fist Bump mashup. However, 1 of the mashups I've seen before that gave me some inspiration was SoulofDespair's Infinite mashup (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bPCvdzS4jdU) - It inspired me to try out LP instrumentals more!

Infinite is such an interesting character to me. We unfortunately didn't get to see much of/about him, but that way made it more fun for the imagination to run wild. In this mashup, I loved the idea of 2 minds fighting over control of a single entity - The prideful & calm sadist (Infinite + Phantom Ruby) & the primal, vengeful former self (Infinite pre-Ruby). I like to think that at some point, Infinite's former self (which he casted off after being "reborn") will seep through the cracks as impulsive rage, making him dangerously unpredictable. At this point, we don't know if he's in full control (by the end of Forces) or the Ruby. Either way, it's a really cool concept that I tried to implant in this mashup, as well as making me like this character so much more!

Because of the lack of instrumental for the theme of Infinite, I included the 1st two Infinite battle themes. Although looking back, I think the lack of an instrumental is a good thing - looking for full clear acapellas for Faint is impossible as of typing this. Also, having other Infinite themes allowed me to experiment with other acapellas as well as using instrumentals pieces from Linkin Park songs, something that I rarely do.

This is probably one the grandest videos I've made as of late, took a long time of experimenting & testing. There are probably other things I want to say about this, but I'm so burnt out right now, hope you guys enjoy this long-awaited video (& hopefully lives up to expectation)! =D
