This picture began to circulate after the recent water supply interruption in certain areas of Sri Lanka, after an accident urged people to boil tap water before consumption.

Like everything else, this picture was not taken from the accident site in Sri Lanka but picked up from the internet by someone and started circulating.

Fear mongers are always at work when a similar incident happens.

This picture is of a pipe removed in Thailand, not Sri Lanka.

Therefore, be mindful and act wisely before reposting or sharing when such a thing starts circulating on social media.
