Australians 'ill-informed' due to 'outrageous scaremongering' of health experts: Panahi

Sky News host Rita Panahi says lack of accountability for the “outrageous scaremongering” of the nation’s “supposed public health experts” have left many Australians ill-informed about the coronavirus pandemic.

“The piece … calls out some of the outrageous scaremongering, the spectacularly wrong doomsday predictions and the lack of qualifications of some supposed public health experts,” she said.

“Talking about outlandish, alarmist predictions - we've seen absolutely no accountability, no reckoning for the wildly wrong modelling & expert predictions.

“No wonder so many people are still ill-informed about Covid-19 despite more than 16 months of intense coverage.”
