The song THE WEDDING is originally composed by Chilean composer Joaquin Prieto in the Spanish language "La Novia" (The Bride) in 1960. In 1964, his brother Juan Antonio Espinosa Prieto, who was a famous Chilean actor and singer during the 50s and 60s in Latin America and some Spanish countries, recorded the song "La Novia". Then, in the following years came the versions of Enrico Musiani, and Tony Dallara. Connie Francis recorded "La Novia" and the English version of the song "The Wedding", Julie Rogers recorded the English version in 1964, Gigliola Cinquetti who was the Eurovision Song Contest winner in 1964 also recorded an English version, and more.
