This is a reality film about a dance culture that was created out of the streets of West Oakland and help change the industry and the dance wars across the nation and T.V.

The Architeckz Athletic Hip-Hop Team was created in 2002 to encourage youth to use Hip-Hop Street Dances as an Inner City Sport for all City Neighborhoods Promoting Physical Activity, teamwork and Unity. The Architeckz are a Hip-Hop Athletic Team that travels city to city challenging other urban street dancers to competitions in their own neighborhoods (And 1 style). We are encouraging a new sporting activity titled T.U.R.F.'n©(Takin Up Room on the Floor). We have organized an outlet to develop positive healthy alternatives to working out and feeling good while dancing,

ITURFDANCE.COM was created for all the unsung heros of the World of Freestyle dancing throughout the United States of America and the WORLD. Here at ITURFDANCE.COM we want to give exposure to the LOCAL freestyle dancers, the ones that everybody says," I know someone who would beat you if they only had the chance". Well here a dancer can get the opportunity to showcase there UNIQUE style to the WORLD and represent their region on how they express themselves in art of impromptu dance. Often the main reason that dancers get discouraged in dancing is because the lack of resources of being in the major markets, i.e. Los Angeles and New York. Atlanta. It is a shame that when Hollywood comes knocking they never look in the inner city neighborhoods were the dances evolve from. This Site is for the FREESTYLER that person may not be the best in CHOREOGRAPHY but you better bring your A+ game when it comes to dancing 1 0n 1. This Evolution of T.U.R.F.(Taking Up Room on the Floor, Made Popular By The Architeckz, Aniamanikz, and Turf Fiends) Dancing has Evoloved from being a Oakland California Bay Area thing ( A place known for a trendsetting culture...i.e. Slang, Music, and Dancing) to everyone and anyone who can dance, and has MUTATED (Shot out to StoryBoard P) many different styles. The Days of Bitting our long gone and it's time for ALL freestylers to know not only the HISTORY of there own Unique dances from their regions, but More important the PIONEERS and CULTURES OF THE WORLD that has influnced Hip-Hop in helping evovle their own style.
