Teaching Medical Students Patient Safety and Quality Improvement

http://www.einstein.yu.edu - What’s the proper way to take off contaminated gloves? How do you reduce the risk of medication errors and patient falls in the hospital? Watch second-year medical students at Albert Einstein College of Medicine participate in hands-on and interactive patient safety and quality improvement exercises. The lively module is part of a new Einstein curriculum, Population Health and the Practice of Medicine, aimed at helping future doctors become better stewards for their patients, preventing medical errors and improving patient outcomes. This safety and quality improvement course is led by Einstein and Montefiore Medical Center faculty and staff.
