Too Small to Fail - Chef Sarah Rich & Jonny Gilbert of Rich Table

Chef Sarah Rich opened Rich Table in 2012 in San Francisco, California, and it quickly became one of the most lauded restaurants in the City. Due to the Coronavirus shutdowns, they made the difficult decision to temporarily shutter Rich Table. Even though the flagship is closed, GM Jonny Gilbert gives the same level of hospitality and care to customers and employees at RT Rotisserie, their casual sister restaurant because this is what they do. It's in their heart and soul. So is the fight. Sarah observes that if anyone is equipped to come back from this, it's restaurants, because even on their best days they are fighting to succeed. She doesn't know when this will end, but she is certain there won't be a world without restaurants. She understands the fight in all these people, she knows they will all be back.

In the midst of the COVID-19 crisis, we want to help YOU, the restaurateurs and small business owners. We created the #Cheetah4You documentary series to give the service industry a voice, featuring restaurant owners who are trying to survive. It features personal perspectives, sacrifices, and recommendations for others fighting to keep their doors open. It’s our goal at Cheetah to bring awareness to the struggles, tough decisions, and perseverance of those determined to continue operating and surviving during this time. Please share these stories with the hashtag #Cheetah4You to help us raise awareness.

-------------
Cheetah is an e-commerce platform designed for independent restaurant and small business owners to order wholesale food and supplies for next-day delivery. Due to high consumer demand for groceries and supplies during the COVID-19 crisis , and the unfortunate closure of many restaurants, Cheetah has opened up its wholesale services and facilities to give local communities access to the supplies they need. Cheetah has turned its refrigerated trucks into mobile fulfillment centers whereby consumers can place their order through the Cheetah mobile app and pick it up from the truck, which will be parked at multiple designated will call locations in the Bay Area. Founded in 2015 by Na'ama Moran, Christopher Elliott, Alon Har-Tal and Vincent Matranga, the company is headquartered in San Francisco with offices in Israel.
