Return to Robin Gibb's Grave

I went back to Robin Gibb's grave to see if his headstone had been installed yet, it's still not up yet but I'm sure someone's working on it. It was the day of the Thame Duck Race and there were lots of people stopping by as they returned to town from the river bank viewing the race, many stopping to pay their respects. There were numerous small objects and cards left by his fans, he will be missed greatly by many people including myself.

BLUE PLAQUE UNVEILING - ROBIN GIBB CBE
Sunday 30th September 2012

The Heritage Foundation will be unveiling a Blue Plaque in conjunction with Thame Town Council in honour of our past President and good friend Robin Gibb CBE.
The plaque will be unveiled by members of Robin's family at his former home, The Prebendal, Priestend, Thame, Oxon, OX9 3AA

on Sunday 30th September 2012 at 2:00pm and followed by a Garden Party also at The Prebendal.
The event will be hosted by President - Vicki Michelle MBE OSJ and David Kid Jensen
Special guests confirmed as attending so far are; Sir Tim Rice, Rick Wakeman, Nicholas Parsons OBE, Jess Conrad OBE, Paul Gambaccini, Les Reed OBE, Derek Martin, Kate Plantin, John Challis, Michael Black, Julie Rodgers, Mitch & Jane Winehouse, Mike Reed, Bob Harris, David Hook & Elizabeth Richard.
Net profits of this event will go to The Bomber Command Memorial Maintenance Appeal Fund.
