Ellen Petersen Audition - American Idol 2015

Ellen Petersen's Season 14 American Idol audition with 'I Wanna Be A Cowboy's Sweetheart'. 'The Beverly Hillbillies' at the end was not a set up! Haha. Ellen is just thankful she remembered how to play the song!

Ellen initially auditioned for American Idol while they were on their Bus Tour in 2014 at the Branson Landing. She then advanced to Kansas City, Missouri where this clip was filmed while she auditioned for the celebrity judges: Keith Urban, Harry Connick Jr., and Jennifer Lopez. She made it through Hollywood Week and advanced to the top 48. She was eventually cut right before making it to the live shows.

The American Idol experience was incredible for Ellen and the rest of the Petersen family as it gave us lots of exposure and helped bring awareness to our family band.
