My Surgery and Hospital Care in Puerto Rico | Living in Puerto Rico

This is my experience with surgery and 3 day/2 night hospital care in Puerto Rico.

Plan on a full day for pre-op labs, and COVID test is currently required prior to surgery.
Be sure to ask questions and confirm all details of which medications to stop and how many days prior to surgery. Ask if there are any supplies that you will need to purchase & bring prior to your surgery.

Be sure to pack your own pillow, blankets, toiletries, bath towels, and night gown/jammies.

All of my Doctors and Surgeons speak English and most of the nursing staff. I received excellent medical care in pre-op, during my surgery, post-op, and my 3 day stay in San Jorge hospital.
