Hi there everyone!

Today we are back in the world of Pagani Design...this time it's a dress watch that is a homage to the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Range.

This model, reference PD-1690 has a 39.7mm case, a rather sleek 11mm thickness & 20mm end links. The subtle sunburst effect dial is protected by a sapphire crystal. A solid end link oyster style bracelet & clasp round out the offering albeit without a glide-lock clasp..but, at just $120, it's not exactly a deal-breaker!

Lume on the watch is as per most Pagani's prior to 2023...in short..dire. But, this is one negative against many positives.

I am not a particularly huge fan of dress watches. my preference always steers me to Divers/Sports watches... but...this model with that almost 40mm diameter has possibly changed that view.

Powering the watch is a Seiko NH35A Automatic movement, this is an excellent movement that will provide years of service & is highly reliable. It has a power reserve of around 40 hours & accuracy stated to be around 15 seconds a day, although most will run better than that after a period of wearing them in.

Keen to hear your thoughts on this watch...is it a hit or a miss.?

My own view,for what it's worth...the only two negatives for me are that diabolical lume & the date window...it ruins the dial symmetry & a no-date version would be much better.
