How To Solve Slitherlink Puzzles - The Sheep & Wolves Variation

As trailed in our earlier video, here we discuss this beautiful variation on the standard Nikoli Slitherlink puzzle. For those of you unfamiliar with the rules:

➊ Draw a single closed loop along the grid lines of the diagram which does not visit a grid dot more than once.
➋ A number in a cell indicates how many of the grid lines surrounding this cell is used by the loop.
➌ For a cell without a number the loop can use any number of surrounding grid lines.

Additional Rules for this variation: Cells with circles (sheep) are inside of the loop, cells with crosses (wolves) are outside of the loop.
