EX PAT LIFE IN ABRUZZO. A stroll through some old ruins and the history of Abruzzo.

We took a walk through an area of southern Abruzzo, just to the west of Guilmi, to explore an area of old abandoned houses. Most of these old properties are stone ruins but what character and history.
I wonder what their stories are, where did the families go and when?
Join me as we wander an old lane filled with history but also a touch of sadness, just part of the rich history and culture of this wonderful place in Italy.
