Durleigh refurbishment project
We have completed a £50 million project to improve and rebuild Durleigh Water Treatment Centre near Bridgwater as part of our long-term water supply strategy for Somerset.
Work started in 2019 on what was the largest single-value scheme delivered by our Engineering and Sustainable Delivery (ESD) department and the build of two new wetland habitats at the head of Durleigh Reservoir – located west of the treatment centre – was also completed.
