How To Buy A Bike • Cannondale SystemSix vs. SuperSix Evo Comparison • Aero vs. All Around

Welcome to the Ing Guides Life’s feature presentation - “How To Buy A Bike: Aero vs All-around Comparison.” This video isn’t about the details of component options or getting the best deal on a bike. There’s already plenty of videos on those subjects out there. This video is unique. This video is a guide to evaluating a bicycle’s ride feel aka, handling characteristics.

We give you a Framework Of Understanding (FOU) for bike testing. An easy to remember framework that explains the rider’s actions and the bike’s reactions. Included in this F.O.U. is a continuum of geometry that will enable you to categorize a bike as more stable or more maneuverable. Once you understand the factors involved, evaluating a bike for ride feel is easy and enjoyable.

These are the tools you need to find the right bike for you. They’re also the tools you can use to improve your bike handling skills.

If you arrived here simply because you want information on one or both of our Cannondale test bikes, you won’t be disappointed. We do an in-depth breakdown of each bike ride feel and how they compare. We also cover practical aerodynamics, weight differences, hi-mod v ballistec, and why your equipment matters. You’ll also see many great action and studio shots of each bicycle.

We’ve provided chapter links below to make navigating the video easier depending on your specific interests, but we strongly urge the viewer to take in the whole presentation first.
