Professional MTB rider Lewis Buchanan is always eager to push his boundaries. He recently attempted a massive 75-foot cliff jump, his largest yet! Unfortunately, Lewis misjudged the landing zone by less than half a foot, leading to a violent impact that caused the chin guard of his helmet to strike his front tire, sent his visor flying off, and completely detached the piggyback on his rear shocks!
Lewis didn’t suffer any broken bones, though he was in considerable pain. His choice to wear D3O-protected knee pads proved crucial, preventing any serious injuries and keeping the situation from being much worse.
