Headstart: Leronlimab is a drug being used to fight COVID-19. It was one of the medicines given to former President Joseph Estrada when he was infected with the virus a few weeks back, according to his son Jinggoy Estrada. UP PGH Associate Clinical Professor of Surgery Dr. Randy Nicolas says the safety profile of the drug is astounding, with zero recorded adverse effects in 11 trials among HIV patients.
