Testing my homemade amadou with flint and my carbon steel knife

In this video I try out my new knife, the Mora Garberg Black Carbon... I'm not checking the sharpness of the edge, but rather striking the carbon steel back with flint. Will I get my homemade Amadou tinder to take a spark from the knife?

I started way earlier by cutting thin pieces of Amadou from the Tinder Fungus (Fnöskticka in Swedish)... then I processed the thin pieces by boiling them in water with pure birch ash (Asklut in Swedish), after boiling I bashed them to 'fluffiness', both when they were still wet and finally when they are dry. The finished product is a superior amadou that will take even the faintest of sparks... or will it?
