Here is how to make my favorite laundry detergent.

* When grating the bars of soap use the fine grater. This allows the soap to properly dissolve. Also washing in warm water will help for the soap to properly dissolve.
**Some washers have very small inlets for the powder soap. You might need to add soap directly to load.
Please follow manufactures directions for your machine.

Here is the recipe for the best DIY laundry detergent
I use:
4 lb box of Borax
3 1/2 to 4 lb box of Arm and Hammer Super Washing Soda
4 lb box of Arm and Hammer Baking Soda
1 - 48 oz container of Purex Crystals
3 bars of Purex Fels-Naptha
3 lb tub of Oxi Clean
