Fix Tesla Wind Noise in 5 Minutes (No Tools, No Cost)

If you’ve noticed wind or road noise in your Tesla — especially at highway speeds — this simple 5-minute fix might make a real difference.

In my case, I found that wind noise was coming from the top of the side windows. The windows weren’t fully sealing against the upper frame, which allowed more wind noise into the cabin than expected.

The solution was surprisingly simple:
Run the window calibration routine in Service Mode to reset the upper and lower limits of each window.

No tools.
No parts.
No aftermarket seals.

Just a quick calibration procedure that anyone can do.

After running the calibration, I immediately noticed a reduction in wind noise at speed. I don’t have measured decibel values, but the difference was clearly noticeable in normal driving.

If your Tesla feels louder than expected, or you suspect the windows may not be sealing perfectly, this is worth trying before spending money on soundproofing solutions.
