(Part 2) Climbing Down 340 Feet of Ladders in the Abandoned Desert Lode Star Mine

This video picks up right where Part 1 left off -- I'm descending a lengthy ladder system to the 240-Level in the abandoned Desert Lode Star Mine to join Tom and Julie who were waiting for me. Once on the 240-Level, we explored all four branching tunnels in an attempt to locate the ladders that would take us to the 300-Level of the Desert Lode Star Mine. Along the way, we saw many enormous stopes, dangerous false floors over bottomless stopes, an abandoned windlass, an explosives storage locker, and many other interesting things.

Stay tuned at the end of my video for some sneak-peek previews of scenes from Part 3 in which we descend to the 300-Level and explore it! And, yes, while on the 300-Level we did find the ladders that go to the 400-Level. Did we climb down another 100 feet of ladders to the 400-Level? Tune into Part 3 for the answer to that!
