Request Headers in API Request | Day 6

Request Headers are key value pairs passed in API Request, to provide additional details about the request.

Request headers are sent by the client to the server and contain information and instructions related to the requested resource

Commonly used request headers:

Content-Type: application/json, multipart/form-data
Authorization: for authentication (credentials or token)
Cookie: to store session information
Host: Domain name of server we are calling
User-Agent: Client from where request is made
Accept: application/json [Type of response client expecting from server]
Cache-control: The Cache-Control header controls caching behavior in the client’s browser or intermediate caches. It defines how the response can be cached, when it expires, and how it should be revalidated.

Let us catch up in video.
