Zinc Table with Drawers (friction fit - no metal slides) Complete Build

Making a zinc counter top and table with 3 drawers from start to finish. These are what I call "friction fit" drawers that have wood tracking built in place. This saves a little bit of money, as the undermount full-extension slides cost around $25 each. However, the time to make and fit extra parts (and wax them) means that there is no real cost advantage. I use the metal slides where extra functionality is needed. In my last video with turned legs, I used the undermount slides because the depth front to back was small in proportion to the drawer height, and this would make the friction fit option not work very well. The finish on this is a non-distressed paint finish. (primer base coat, 2 coats of color, and flat poly varnish).
