RV Battery Basics

Basic info on the different types of RV batteries ( Wet cell, AGM and Lithium), as well as why I upgraded my Winnebago View to 6 volt Golf cart batteries. Deep cycle batteries are best for RV use and with proper care, can be the most economical choice.
Only issue with the Golf cart batteries is they have a larger voltage drop (1.5V) when under high current discharge as when I'm running the microwave. This can cause my inverter to shutdown when the batteries get down to around 60% charge. I solved this problem with a tiny timer chip on the boost slenoid.

One more thing, my inverter is 2000 watts, not 2000 kilowatts.
