ZAGREB 🇭🇷 FIRST DAY + SETTLING IN | Vero and Justin (Croatia travel vlog video)

In this February 2020 Croatia travel vlog, we spent our first two days in our new hometown Zagreb to get settled in. How much did we spend during our first day settling in our new hometown Zagreb, Croatia?

Instead of sightseeing, we spent our first two days getting settled in. We got Ember's dog food, got our Croatian SIM cards, grabbed some beer and did our groceries. It was an interesting experience because not everyone we came across spoke English. Finding hummus (Vero's favourite snack) was very hard for two reasons: one, it's said differently here; two, it's not as readily available in the stores as back in Canada. We had heard that cost of living was still high, especially because we are living in the centre, but in comparison to Canada, we found it much lower (this could be due to the fact that it is low season right now).
