DeepSeek, a Chinese company, has recently launched its AI model, DeepSeek-R1. To use it, you have to create an account on DeepSeek’s website. It’s app is also available for Android phones and iPhones. You can also set up and host DeepSeek-R1 locally on your computer, even without an internet connection. However, this will be the Distilled version of the DeepSeek-R1. This tutorial shows how to run DeepSeek R1 locally on Windows 11/10.
