‘That’s Disgusting’: GOP Senator BLASTS Minnesota AG in Heated Immigration Exchange

A fiery exchange unfolded at a Senate Homeland Security Committee hearing as Sen. Bernie Moreno pressed Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison on whether people who enter the United States illegally should be deported. When Ellison responded that it “depends” and argued that due process must apply in asylum cases, Moreno accused him of failing to uphold the rule of law and called the answer “disgusting.” The tense back-and-forth escalated as Moreno challenged Ellison on border policy, asylum standards and anti-Semitism in Minnesota.
