Drone Footage Of Turtle Bay Fighter Strip - Espiritu Santo

Drone footage we shot on Santo of the abandoned Fighter Strip up at Turtle Bay. It's becoming very overgrown now but you can still make out the strip from the air and the ground - although at ground level you could easily drive right past it and not notice it beside the highway. The unmade road up the left side of frame is in fact the left edge of the old runway. the right edge of the runway is the depression in the tree line running parallel with the road. The reverse angle looking out to see is what the pilots saw when they took off over the coast. A spectacular view looking towards Turtle Bay and Ambae Island.
