Angrboda got angry on Atreus | The story behind giants of godofwar Ragnarok #godofwar#pcgaming

In God of War: Ragnarök, Angrboda gives Atreus a bag of marbles, which are actually soul marbles containing the souls of the last remaining Jötunn giants. She explains that her father, in an effort to give the giants peace, whispered their souls into these marbles before his death. Angrboda hands them to Atreus, tasking him with his destiny as the "Champion of the Jötnar" and the keeper of their souls.
Each marble is inscribed with the name of a giant and holds their soul, which was sealed away to provide peace from the fear of the Aesir.

The act confirms that Atreus's role is to be the guardian of these souls, a task his mother, Faye, foresaw.
