China Fashion Gala 2020 Highlight Reel

The highlights of China Fashion Gala 2020 held virtually on July 23 with China Institute and the Yue-Sai Kan China Beauty Charity Fund.

This year’s gala honored Estée Lauder with the Beauty Award. This inaugural award was accepted by Group President, The Estée Lauder Companies, and Global Brand President, Estée Lauder Stephane de La Faverie, presented by Yang Mi. Chinese investor, entrepreneur and philanthropist Wendy Yu was honored with the Millennial Leadership Award, presented by Jason Wu. Chinese American designer Phillip Lim was recognized with the Leadership Award, presented by Lisa Ling. Actress, director, artist and activist Lucy Liu was also honored with the Icon Award, presented by Yue-Sai Kan.

The event also featured a Heaven Gaia fashion show, with designer Xiong Ying, and a special performance of the legendary Thousand Hand Bodhisattva dance!

All proceeds from China Fashion Gala 2020 – One World in Beauty benefit China Institute and its mission, since 1926, to advance greater understanding between the U.S. and China. More at www.chinainstitute.org
