Bhapa Doi - Perfect Festive Indian Dessert | Steamed in Nutricook Steami | घर पर बनाये भापा दोई

Welcome to my channel. Today we are going to make Bhapa Doi, which is a delicacy from West Bengal. It is super delicious and looks just like a cheesecake. It is sooo soft and amazing to eat. I am sure you and your loved ones will enjoy it this festive season!

All you need is -

• 2 cups curd
• 1 cup Condensed milk
• 3/4 tsp Cardamom powder
• 1 tsp cornflour
• A few saffron strands
• Chopped pistachios
• Dried rose petals

Method -
1. Tie curd in a muslin cloth and hang it for 30 mins to remove excess water.
2. Now, simply whisk together hung curd and condensed milk until smooth.
3. Add in cardamom powder, conflour to it and whisk again.
4. Transfer to a greased baking tin, lined with baking paper. Ensure to grease it with oil as ghee/ butter will solidify upon refrigeration.
5. Set the Steami to steam mode and preheat at 200 degrees C.
6. Cover the bhapa doi with banana leaf/ foil and tie it. Steam it on middle rack for 40 minutes.
7. Remove, cool to room temperature and refrigerate for 3-4 hours and unmould. Garnish, slice and enjoy!
