Personal Comments:

This was first Spartan Race, and definitely one of the most exciting things I have ever done! The entire process was engaging, from the inspirational daily emails and my relentless training. The more I looked into the Spartan Race, the more I started to understand that it's more than just a race, it's a lifestyle.

I train to grow the strength needed to overcome life's daily obstacles, and the obstacles I create for myself. Putting myself in the path of the Spartan Race meant a commitment and focus I have rarely experienced. My regular 4 mile runs became 6, and included dunks in every creek I passed. The large stones on the side of the trail became more than scenery. The gym has taken on new meaning. The world seems now like my fitness playground.

I highly recommend everyone to train for a Spartan Race. To complete the course is a grueling and invigorating endeavor. One worth repeating.
