In Game Advertising - NBA 2k and its Further Monetization

The concept of supplementing revenue with in-game advertisements is not inherently bad if it replaces other, more predatory systems. But NBA 2k19 has not opted for that approach. Instead, they have layered in the invasive advertising right on top of predatory systems at every single level.

It is only a matter of time before they run into unavoidable problems as a direct result of this behaviour.
