Maya Student Support: Plating on a sphere using quad draw

This is a raw, un-scripted un-edited student support video where I help a student fix some problems virtually in real time as if I was in class with them. It will probably seem very boring to most viewers but hopefully it shows you how I troubleshoot in maya and fix some common problems.
As it is un-scripted and mostly un-edited it will seem much longer than my normal tutorials.

This video will focus on using the quad draw tool to create metal plating on a spherical surface and why that’s better than moving vertices or multi-cutting new edges into an existing sphere
