***The Quick Review***
When I first got EasyVSL I wasn't super impressed. I even said that most people probably shouldn't buy it.
But since then I've used it to create 120+ videos (and counting) and I've changed my mind.
Why?
Because there's DEFINITELY a place for EasyVSL in most marketers' toolbelts, especially if they do as much testing as my clients and I like to do.
Of course, there are some glitches and it is NOT perfect, but if you're looking to create VSLs super quickly, test many hooks, and test out plain-text or image-based VSLs before creating more "beautiful" ones with Vidnami, then this is a great choice.

***The Good***
EasyVSL allows you to edit every aspect of the scene. You can move the text and images wherever you want, add multiple images, and edit everything within the scene.
You also have to set the slide text separators yourself. At first I thought this was annoying because Vidnami does it for you, BUT I realized that for Vidnami I pretty much always had to go through the entire video and double check the slides to make sure it made sense. That usually took a while because you have to go through each scene & it lags sometimes & it's just... slow.
EasyVSL on the other hand lets you create slide separators looking just at the text which takes some time upfront, but ends up saving you time in the long run.
It also has kinematic templates which are pretty cool (but useless) and you can record a voiceover within the program & autosync it to the slides.
The voiceover sync is FREE, but it uses IBM Watson's voiceover tool so you'll have to create a free account there & add the API key into EasyVSL. It's pretty fast, but is a bit more of a hassle compared to Vidnami's built-in sync.
Fair pricing, especially considering how much value you get and how much time you save, especially if you do a lot of testing. Much cheaper compared to Vidnami.

***The Bad***
It glitches sometimes which can be annoying.
If you're creating 30+ minute videos, the audio and video sometimes desync at higher qualities so you have to drop down the quality a bit.
You can only create 720P videos. Not a big deal for most, especially for text-based VSLs, but might be frustrating for some.
DO NOT BUY the Kinematic templates upsell. They're NOT worth it unless you plan on creating hundreds of 30-60 second videos, but then you might as well get a tool like Vidnami or FlexClip.

***The Conclusion***
If you create many VSls, do a lot of testing, or launch new offers often then EasyVSL is perfect for you. I can create a 30 minute VSL in 60-90 minutes, which is MUCH faster than it took before.
Of course, it still creates basic text VSLs so if you're looking to create high-quality, professional looking ones, you'll have to buy Vidnami also.
My team usually creates our tests with EasyVSL. If the plain-text VSL doesn't work, we know we shouldn't waste more time on a more beautiful one. If it works... then we test something using Vidnami.
