In this live drawing exercise, Matt will have 45 minutes to complete a drawing that fools the eye. The purpose of this drawing is to create the illusion that the avocado is actually on the surface. The creative prompt is "My Eyes Don't Lie". This drawing exercise challenges the artist to think about the positioning of the subject within the picture plane and materials that can be used to create this illusion. This drawing is created using graphite drawing pencils, PanPastels, pastels, colored pencils, Posca markers and alcohol-based markers on toned sketch paper. Tune in and draw along during the live broadcast.
