Hi, I'm Kirby Allison, and I'm thrilled to be here in Havana, Cuba, for the very first time, visiting this wonderful city with several of my good friends - and fellow cigar enthusiasts - from London. We have come to attend the 23rd Festival del Habano, the most important event in the world for Cuban cigars. Along the way, we will explore the many examples of quality, craftsmanship, and tradition that are to be found within Cuban culture, and amongst the people of this beautiful island.

For many people, the mere mention of Cuban cigars conjures up serene images of luxury, sophistication, and relaxation. But Cuban cigars have come to represent more than just a pleasureful pastime. No, Cuban cigars truly embody the island itself. It’s fertile land, rich culture, incredible history, and beautiful people.

So, join me as we travel to Havana, Cuba, to explore the world of quality, craftsmanship, and tradition of this beautiful island and their incredible cigars.
