ANGEL FROM HELL - THE LIFE OF WILLIAM R PERKINS - WWII FIGHTER PILOT

In this 30 minute WWII documentary, I travel to Michigan to learn more about the life of P-51 fighter pilot William R Perkins. I travel to his high school in East Grand Rapids Michigan and Portage Lake in Onekama. I interview his cousin Brooks Applegate II and his childhood friend Rev. George Bernard, CSC. I also interview members of his 356th Fighter Squadron who served with him in WWII: Cpl Peter Wilson, Sgt. William W. Louie, Lt. Col. James Edwards and 1st Lt. Charles Simonson. William R. Perkins was a member of the 354th Fighter Group/356th Fighter Squadron. He was KIA on June 13, 1944. Before joining the US Army Air Force, he was an American member of the Royal Canadian Air Force.
